Our annual open event, the Iron Stampede, is scheduled for September 19, 2009. The event will begin at Harley-Davidson of Elk Grove and include a "poker run" with a variety of games. Registration will include a poker hand with a $200 high hand and $100 low hand, a ride pin, raffle ticket, and food/drink. Additionally, we will have a Chapter Challenge, and have bike games planned with prizes to be awarded. More information will follow, and we hope to see you there!

The Chapter That Rides!

2008 was another great year for the Thundering Herd, including 116 rides and over 400,000 Chapter miles logged. This included 8 overnighters to such places as Milwaukee, Oregon, several state rallies and a collection of great California scenic rides. For the second year running, our members have individually ridden over 1,000,000 miles in a year.
 
If you are in the Elk Grove area and are looking for a group to ride with, you are a welcome addition to our Chapter. Everyone is welcome to come to our General Meeting on the third Wednesday of the month. Keep an eye on our calendar for new member/orientation rides as well to get a feel for group riding.
